Living in a northern country has compelled me to appreciate the beauty of clouds. I especially love the stark contrasts of illuminated storm clouds. This piece is part of a series of clouds paintings I have been working on titled "Suspended Time". It was created by applying multiple layers of acrylic paint, gold leaves and oil paint, so as to create an impression of depth and a sense of mystery, rendering the representation of clouds almost abstract.
